The Huddersfield Experimental Laptop Orchestra (HELO) is a group of laptop based musicians exploring laptop performance practice, composition and improvisation. Based within the Huddersfield University Music Department, the Laptop ensemble is classified as a directed ensemble and is part of the undergraduate program.

HELO was established in 2008 and is directed by Scott Hewitt.
