Track 1
This is just the first 26 seconds of a recording made in an 8-channel studio with AJ, GB, and JB each playing through a stereo pair each while SH and SF each played mono. AJ on lead vocals; after the word 'unreahearsed' SH and SF play similar sounds at the same time, the recording is cut at that point to serve as an introduction to this documentary album.
Track 2
Includes SF playing raw electromagnetic sounds of a laptop via telephone pickup coil, particularly in the first few minutes.

SF is live-coding in Max/MSP
Track 4
This track begins partway through a recorded improvisation but runs through to its end.
Bonus Track (Download Only)
This 'bonus track' has the room-mic recording mixed in with the direct line recordings of each laptop. SH makes a joke of the deliberately loud track-pad click which started the multitrack recording; the click sound being used to later synchronize the separate room recording. The gap of silence between the 'end' and our reacting is typical of many HELOpg improvisations.

Having performed throughout the UK lptp is HELOpg's debut release, a representative document record of their first two years.
